Meet Marta
I’m Marta — a vocal coach, music educator and lifelong performer with an international background in voice, music and education.
My approach combines evidence-based vocal pedagogy with musicianship, artistry and an understanding of the whole person behind the voice. I hold a Master’s degree in Vocal Pedagogy and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education & English, with additional training in voice science and neuroscience.
Before returning to Cincinnati — where I previously taught at CSM — I worked as a Senior Vocal Coach in Singapore and taught music, voice and jazz in Prague. My professional experience also includes television and advertising work in Poland, Prague and Singapore, live stage performance, studio and voice recording, and recording my own album.
As a performer, my roots are in jazz, and I have performed at renowned Prague jazz venues including Reduta Jazz Club and Jazz Dock. My musical background also spans gospel, musical theatre and contemporary pop, while my work with younger singers often includes Disney and age-appropriate contemporary repertoire.
I’ve worked with singers of different ages, backgrounds and experience levels — from children discovering their voices to adults, developing performers and experienced singers. I believe great vocal coaching should give you more than exercises. It should help you understand your voice, develop reliable technique, build confidence and discover an artistic identity that feels authentically yours.
